FBR to launch system against under-invoicing soon

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has engineered a new system meant for elimination of under-invoicing; the system is expected to be introduced next week, Geo News reported Sunday.Talking to Geo News correspondent, the FBR’s member customs Muneer Qureshi said the new system against under-invoicing can help increase the FBR revenues by 10 to15 percent.
The Member Customs further told that several officers and importers have been arrested on identification of scams in audits at dry ports of Margalla, Lahore and Sambriyal, adding the licenses of various clearing agents have been cancelled as well.
